    I know a lot of folks despise rowing. The rowing machine or ergometer is all about efficiency. If you have access to the xfit journal, you should take some time and watch some (if not all) of the rowing videos. Solid technique on the ergometer translates like any other movement at xfit. I can speak from my experience and say with certainty that if you improve your technique your dread of rowing will decrease and your efficiency will increase. You may even find rowing to be marginally better than burpees.
