Jacob, who is part of the PM O-lift instruction team. For all those who got yelled at yesterday for pulling early on the snatch, this is the position you must get to before bending the arms. The arms should not bend until after you have finished going up. Also note the wide open mouth. It is considered very good form to scream as loudly as possible at this point in the movement.
Workout of the Day
“Fight Gone Bad!“
Three rounds of:
Wall-ball, 20 pound ball, 10 ft target (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull, 75 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump, 20″ box (Reps)
Push-press, 75 pounds (Reps)
In this workout you move from each of five stations after a
minute.The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a
five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before
repeating. On call of “rotate”, the athletes must move to next station
immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on
the rower where each calorie is one point.

CF Atlanta gets some mention and a little camera time in the early parts of this webcast [wmv] [mov] of the final heat of the final event of the Affiliate competition at the CrossFit Games. CF ATL’s time in the previous heat held up to take 1st place in the event, and 8th in the overall competition.
Alan got his 1st muscle-up yesterday, and to prove it wasn’t just luck, he did two consecutively for the camera.
