Alright everybody!! The Paleo challenge “ramp up” officially starts Monday by cutting out your bread/grains/refined sugar. This means your buy in cash and before metrics/pics are due tomorrow! I will be at the gym around 10:30am tomorrow. The pot is now over $300!!! Great job to everyone who did the tough workout last night. Make sure you record the height/weight you used on everything and your time. We want the most accurate measurement of your workout as possible. Get excited!

Lasts nights workout solidified my commitment to the challenge, during the pull-ups I was thinking these would be so much easier if I dropped 10lbs. And then I did today’s WOD and Brent had me do knees to elbows in place of inverted hangs and I thought, these would be so much easier if I lost 15lbs. Bottom line is I need to trim the fat.

Also, Andy had a great idea for those of you clearing out your pantry for the paleo challenge: rather than throwing the food away, let’s donate it! I’ll try to find a box at the gym for everyone to bring their stuff and throw it in.

Lovin’ it out here in San Diego. New job is great, and I’ve been strict paleo for two weeks. Meals aren’t a challenge but snacks have been hard as I’ll find myself eating about $4 worth of almonds without noticing. Anyway, things are going well, and I’m progressing to my goals for the year (a sub-19 Angie last week, a 175lb squat clean this week and a 19-round Cindy today.) Life’s good.
