CrossFit ATL 4586 Why are these mean people laughing at this poor girl?

Workout of the Day

Handstand Push-up/Pull-up Ladder

With a continuously running clock, do one pull-up and one handstand
push-up the first minute, two pull-ups and two handstand push-ups the
second minute, three pull-ups and three handstand push-ups the third
minute… continuing as long as you are able. When you cannot complete
the required number of reps for either exercise, continue only with the
other as long as you are able.

Use as many sets in any order each minute as needed.

Post number of minutes successfully completed for each exercise to
comments. Their sum is your score.

"Moved to Mate" by Dr. Steven Platek, the CrossFit
Journal.   Dr. Platek is a Professor at Georgia Gwinnett College, where he has started a CrossFit Club affiliate.  He often works out with Kyle Maynard and Ben Davis' at No Excuses CrossFit, and got his CrossFit Level 1 certification at CrossFit Atlanta in February.

    Just got a job offer to come back out to San Diego when I graduate, so, regrettably, it doesn’t look like I’ll be back in Atlanta any time soon. Loving Crossfit more each day, though, and I have you guys to thank for that. Best of luck to everyone there.

    Bethanie tells me one or more of you don’t believe I’ve ever actually done a crossfit workout. : ) Rather than direct you go my beyondthewhiteboard profile, I will do an actual workout before I leave next week. It will be a modified Cindy. In place of the air squats (since I can’t do them with any kind of speed) I will substitute 15 double-unders. I’d love it if a few of you would do it with me. Maybe I can talk Bethanie into making it the 6:00pm workout some day next week.

    So I basically just read a CFJ on Darwinism??? I usually stay away from the comments simply b/c I don’t have time to read them, but WOW. I read a couple and Rob’s right, that article got lit up!

    To-day’s WOD, as Rx’d:
    HSPU: 5 rounds plus 5
    Pull-ups: 18 rounds + 11
    The pull-ups are three shy of my previous attempt of this workout that had only pull-ups.

    Today’s WOD:
    HSPU: 6 rounds + 4
    PU: 14 rounds + 10
    My first official crossfit workout since 12/17/09. Felt great.
    For those of you gracious enough to help me out next Friday, my address is 2123 Arbor Gates Drive, 30324. Parking will be on the street just outside my apartment’s gate. Don’t worry, it’s a very short walk to my unit from there. Give me a call at 757-270-1486 when you get here so I can let you through the gate.
