31  Box jumps 20″
31 Pull ups
31 Wall balls 20/14
31 Sit ups
31 KB swings 1.5/1 pd
31 Burpees

Sign up online for the 2010 CrossFit Games, Georgia Sectionals, and on the whiteboard at the gym to be on one of the CF ATL teams that are entered in the friendly and social Affiliate Team Competition. 3 men, 3 women per team.

Have you ever been asked to explain, “What is CrossFit?” and then been stumped, unable to give a short, clear, accurate answer?  Now that you have time to think, how would you answer if all the time you had was an elevator ride?  Post to comments.

    Good morning Atlanta!
    I hear it’s cold there…that sucks. :)
    It’s only been a week, but yes, I miss Atlanta and everyone there.
    I’ve been working out at Crossfit Southside with Justin Bergh and am also going to be visiting Crossfit Jax on Sat.

    Hey Peter,
    Once all your sympotms subside and you are healed, can you get another imaging done of your spine and disks. It would be interesting to see if what you noted in the previous image is still there.

    If you are lifting heavy weights, you should be wearing a belt.

    After thinking about this for some time, I realised that if you could put everything that CrossFit is into an elevator ride, the person wouldn’t have any idea what you meant by half of the clauses, e.g. “functional exercises”, “focus on intensity”, “non-constant interval benchmarks”, &c.
    When I have had only an elevator ride to explain it, I have just handed them a piece of paper with the HQ URL written on it.

    If you want to pay for it, I’ll do it. Even with my insurance the MRI cost me $400.
