Great party last night!  Once again we learn that if you want to soar with the eagles at dawn, you can't hoot with the owls at night. Thanks to Margaret for hosting.

Support Fort Hood

Tomorrow, Saturday, December 5, we will do the hero workout, Lumber Jack 20
in honor of 4 of the victims of the Ft. Hood massacre who were active
members of the CrossFit affiliate there.  In addition to honoring their
memory, we are raising money for their families.
Donate what you can, get friends and family to donate in support of
your efforts, and come do the workout.  Start here.

Invictus movie opens Dec. 11.  We have scored free
tickets to
a screening on Mon., Dec. 7. Showing is at Atlantic Station.  We'll
meet at the gym and leave around 5:15 PM Monday.  Sign up at the gym,
limited supply, first come-first serve.

Had a great turnout last night for the party! I believe the best gift award goes to Mike G. If you don’t know what he brought, just ask him :)

I had a great time last night. Thanks for hosting the party, MoMo.
Ok. Here is my first IF question…
If you were to be granted one wish, what would it be?

The party was so freaking great. My floors are a little sticky, and I hauled more garbage than one person should generate to the dumpster this morning, but other than that, nothing is worse for the wear. Best gift award ever DEFINITELY goes out to Mike G. I giggle every time I walk by it. I also couldn’t help but smile every time I looked up from my compulsive cleaning disorder to see our community eating, drinking and being merry. Without exception, you all bring wonderful things to my life, even if it’s a slightly creepy vibe.

You two be sweet to each other, because my honest answer to this question would be I would wish for love, and to understand personal relationships. Dammit, I feel so vulnerable now.

Thanks, MoMo! It was fun. I’m definitely glad that I decided to go out last night and put my research paper on hold until this morning. Good thing the Biology department at Georgia State University will never read the paper that they give me 5 credit hours for writing! I love college.

yak must be celebrating his victory over whitney in a workout. . . or maybe the time he beat Ken, and I quote: “in one section of a workout.” Yak you had me cracking up last night, as did many others. Great party. momo you are definitely the hostess with the mostess. Thanks for the hat B, its just what i wanted!
Mike, that is a tough one, I’ll have to mull that one over and get back to you. in the mean time I got one for you hypothetical thinkers; if there was one non-paleo food that you could make paleo somehow, what would it be? whats it gonna be Heidi-bread or peanut butter? cant be both!
Leah P nice work this morning-I think they’ll have to break your legs to keep you from qualifying!

There are so many better reasons to love college; but I am glad that you have once again been rewarded for procrastination. Thanks for coming, it wouldn’t have been the same without you and our altercations.

ahhh, omg..that’s like asking me how I want to die! Or choosing between no arms or no legs. Or which sense to live without…NOT FAIR

MoMo – thanks for hosting, we had a great time.
    Today’s WOD as Rx – 6:37.
I had Mr. Mike K watch me during back extensions to make sure I got full ROM.
Got off the rower at about 3:20, so my time was split about evenly between the two.
