Workout of the Day

Sorry for posting wrong workout earlier.

Today will be trainer's choice done outside because the glue on the new floor needs to set another day before we start dropping weights on it.  The row, thruster, rope climb, etc workout will be made up tomorrow.

    Congrats to Krista who did her first workout completely without a band on pullups (45 of them at that) and got her first ripped hand in the process.

    Today’s workout is:
    Row 30 calories
    95 pound Thruster, 30 reps
    20 foot Rope climb, 3 ascents
    30 Kettlebell swings, 1.5 pood
    Row 20 calories
    115 pound Thruster, 20 reps
    20 foot Rope climb, 2 ascents
    20 Kettlebell swings, 1.5 pood
    Row 10 calories
    135 pound Thruster, 10 reps
    20 foot Rope climb, 1 ascent
    10 Kettlebell swings, 1.5 pood
    (Or some version of it)

    Krista, that is awesome and a huge accomplishment!
    This Friday at 7am there will be another morning “social” omelette bar, etc to celebrate a few things including Momo’s anniversary at the gym. We are in the process of creating a sign up sheet for people to bring things.
    Marshall’s bday party is on Saturday night. RSVP’s were due by last Friday so if you didn’t…you’re SOL. 😉

    The gym looks great. The paint job is awesome, including the boxes. The new flooring is going to be really nice. Thanks to everyone that put so much hard work into that project.
    Regarding Friday, I am excited for the celebration and thinking maybe, just maybe, I’ll do Fran that morning. The suspense of it all. In other news, yesterday I weighed in at 140…2 pounds away from my goal weight and more than I have ever weighed in my life. Going to test my deadlift at some point this week, so let’s hope this translates to continued strength gains. Also, look for me to be unable maintain that weight, because I’m running a 5k on Saturday and on Sunday, I am being introduced to the sport of cycling.

    Any idea what time the event starts and ends on Saturday ? some of us are gonna carpool there.
