Workout of the Day
"Tabata Something Else"
Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.
Post total reps from all 32 intervals to comments.
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the CrossFit Games Open Qualifying. In the scoring as of Monday morning, CF ATL finished 2nd place in the Southeast, behind CrossFit Hardcore, despite having more total reps over the course of the six events, and in a further scoring anomaly, finished ahead of CrossFit Hardcore in the worldwide rankings.
How To Do an Overhead Squat, NOT, from Livestrong. The video is real, not an April Fool's joke. Evidently someone at the globo gym heard that overhead squats were a good exercise and so this is the way they do them in a gym that does not have bumper plates, does not allow weights to be dropped, and has trainers that don't know the difference between Olympic lifting and powerlifting. Anyone caught doing overhead squats like this at CF ATL will be flogged. (Thanks Brent)
