Congratulations to everyone that went up to the Oktoberfest Games in TN, and an extra congrats to Ken and Leah for bringing home some hardware. They’ve posted everyone’s final results on the games’ blog http://oktoberfestgames.blogspot.com/ , and I’ve got my pictures up here http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeffengelhardt
I think I’m still going to have to take today as a stretch/recovery day, but I can’t wait to do one of these again.

Thanks Jeff. It was good to see you out there and great to see everyone from the gym competing. Everyone worked their butt off. There was some serious competition there – more so than I thought going into it.
Big congrats to Leah P – you killed it!

I really want to do this workout today but every muscle in my body is screaming in pain from this weekend.
On that note, is anybody interested in a pair of size 12 New Balance 737s for $30? Bought them on Friday and used them for 2 workouts on Saturday. http://www.nbwebexpress.com/newbalanceMR737WB.htm

It was great event and a lot of fun.

Thanks guys… it was a such a fun time and great competiton. Awesome job to you too, Ken! Everyone kicked some serious ass this weekend!!!
Unfortunately, I now have the flu, but the doc gave me some potent meds today. So, hopefully I won’t be out of commission too long.
Ken – I’ll drop your KB off next time I make it up to the gym…

Nice, that made me laugh. Ya,the last three WODs were close for the top three, but they killed me on WOD one! That first one had me playing catch up the last three wods…

    Good job Vas.
I was tempted to stick with the weight I started with in the first round, but because I like to get there late and start in the last session, I figured I better drop down to a lower weight. haha
I wonder if a max back squat day is coming up after we get over the DOMS.
