U.S. Marine Corps Captain Joshua S. Meadows, 30, of Bastrop, Texas, assigned to 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion, Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command, based in Camp Pendleton, California, was killed by enemy fire on September 5, 2009 in Farah Province, Afghanistan. He is survived by his wife Angela, daughter Olivia, mother Jan, and sister Erin.

You can help our wounded soldiers and sailors by participating in the Fight Gone Bad event this Saturday.  Metro Atlanta affiliates are banding together to host a huge event at Bravo Company, 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, USMC, 1880 Roswell St. SE, Smyrna, Georgia 30080.  For registration and more info, check out our Facebook page.  The gym will be closed this weekend, so you need to go anyway.

The Rugby World Cup has started. Yesterday, USA, ranked 17th, played Ireland, ranked 4th, and lost 23-10, but played much better than expectations, putting in ferocious tackles throughout the game and never giving up.  In their next game, former WWII tg team partners will renew the Cold War.  USA v. Russia, Sept. 15, 3:30 AM on Universal Sports Network.
