    some folks have mentioned doing the filthy fifty for the paleo challenge on Tuesday (tomorrow). I was planning on using Wednesday’s HQ rest day as filthy fifty day, but for those planning on or wanting to crush the filthiness tomorrow, that is fine, we will accomodate. For those with plans on doing the scheduled WOD, that is fine too.

    Last week I made a post to rally the troops for a mens rec basketball league. After speaking with a few of you, I have decided to pass on this one as the games are played at a gym that is over 30 min drive from the gym. there will be other leagues that we can look into that will be starting up over the next month or so. So again if you are interested in playing ball, let me know so i can form an email list of everyone interested.

    This was my first time doing OHS since the Bay of Pigs Invasion. And since I didn’t have dropping the weights as an option, I had to take it extra easy lest I incur the wrath of the locals (who have already expressed disdain for some of my more violent routines). Anyway, loads in lbs:
    65-95-105-105-95

    Basically, a woman has a webpage to help people become frugivores. Why would somebody need a webpage to help people do that if the raw vegan lifestyle we so natural? What should you expect when doing a raw vegan diet? She tells you:
    “Yo-yoing and binging and purging are very common on the frugivore diet, even among people who have never had such problems in the past.”
    Did you catch that? If you are a perfectly healthy person, you may develop eating disorders. Yeah, sounds like a great way to go.

    dumb question..what are some good carbs that are considered Paleo that you we can eat before long intense workouts like Filthy Fifty on Wednesday???? Oatmeal isnt considered Paleo is it? i ate plenty of veggies today and dont feel like i have the energy to complete an intense workout…any suggestions?

    Sweet potatoes, yams, squash. My personal fav is sweet potatoes with some butter and cinnamon.
