2010-12-102277 We had a suprise visitor Friday, Mikko Salo, winner of the 2009 CrossFit Games. At noon Mikko did a deadlift/GHD Situp workout with Leah P., and the Finnish cyborg returned in the evening for a row/prowler workout with Mike G.

Workout of the Day

21-18-15-12-9 rep rounds of:
115 pound Power snatch
Wallball shots, 20 pound ball
Knees to elbows

Gary Taubes, author of Good Calories, Bad Calories, a book we highly recommend to those more scientifically inclined, has a new book coming out, called Why We Get Fat: What To Do About it.  He also has an interesting blog.  Check out his post, The Inanity of Overeating.     Beginning on the 15th of this month, I will be a full-time crossfit athlete once again. I am doing a month on, with mostly crossfit, and a few runs, swims and bikes thrown in, until spring, when I will be racing again, and only doing crossfit a few times a week. It’s time to get faster and stronger again. I can’t wait to see all of you more often and to do some serious work.
