    Hey Everyone… I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to let you all know that I will no longer be seeing all your lovely faces in the gym. I took a 1st grade position in the City of Alexandria in Virginia. We had to move quickly as I start work on Monday. Derek will still be in and out of the gym for the next couple weeks as he is doing most of the move by himself.(sorry hunny)
    Going forward, I wanted to tell you all that you inspire me to be a better person daily.Your work ethic’s, and undying devotion to become the best is amazing. I couldn’t have made it through some those workouts without you all.
    Thank you for accepting Derek, Jaxson and I into your family. I will truly miss you all, I wish you the best of luck.

    WOD, scaled to 75#, 22:23. This was a good work out, hope it comes up again soon.

    Erin, Derek I will miss having you guys around. Congratulations on the new job, I hope that goes wonderfully. There is a Crossfit there in Alexandria, I met the owner at our olympic lifting cert, hopefully it is close to where you will be living.

    Good luck Erin and Derek. Take that CFA intensity to Alexandria and show them what’s up.
    WOD at 65# – 24:40 – came close to meeting Pukie – do not do this WOD hungover. Anyway, this was my first time doing snatches. They weren’t pretty, but I’m always a fan of the WOD’s with wide ranges of motion. Good day.

    Nooooooo, I am so sad! What a loss! Erin, you and Derek and Jaxson inspire me as well, and I am going to miss you all so much. Please let me know if you and D need a date night at some point before you leave. As promised, I would be happy to babysit Jaxson. All the best at the new job, and congratulations!

    Jeff: I almost puked too, and wished throughout the entire workout that I didn’t eat those scrambled eggs an hour before my arrival. Did the WOD with 55# in 26:31. Need to rest less, but I was only 5 kilos off the rx’d weight and I’m pretty happy about that.
    In other news, Dan mentioned something about the river tomorrow. LaLa, Toby and I are all in…any other takers? We are going to do a WOD at Tobes place, eat a workout recovery meal (maybe Flip?) and then hit the river. It was great fun last time…

    Erin and Derek,
    Congrats on the job and best wishes to you. You will be missed though!
    As Jeff said, bring the CFATL intensity to CF Alexandria and make us proud!
