Workout of the Day

"Barbara"

Five rounds, each for time of:
20 Pull-ups
30 Push-ups
40 Sit-ups
50 Squats

Rest precisely three minutes between each round.

Post time for each of five rounds to comments.

    Today as Rx’d: 38:04. That’s total time with the 4 breaks between the 5 rounds.

    26:45 Rx not counting the breaks.
    I was not happy with today because my push ups were crappy (particularly the 2nd and 3rd round). I started switching up my grip the 4th and 5th round and they got better and I started hitting the depth better. I think my push ups and ring dips have deteriorated the past couple months because of my focus on pull ups and lifting. Time to start hitting them really hard on the warm up again (and ring dips..ugh).

    RX’d 5:18, 6:34, 8:21, 8:32, 7:27 =36:12 not including the breaks.
    Just glad to finish it as RX.

    Bethanie- you sure your splits weren’t 7:92 or something like that 😉
    Apparently weekends have gotten hugely popular also. I remember when they use to be dead….

    6:49, 8:43, 11:31, 13:00, 15:20 – my times went up like an exponential curve. ha.
    The push ups were the worst for me. I think depth was OK but they were not like Heidi’s perfect form/depth push ups.
    I wish I could have puked, that might have helped me to not slow down as much, but that didn’t happen.

    2nd CF ATL Ladies outing: Feb 6th, Friday.
    Place TBD, time evening/night. Please let me know what times after 7pm would be good for those interested in going. If you have place suggestions, let me know, I will try to check for a place in the that is Paleo friendly.

    Umm just wanted all to know that I beat a girl today…. Won’t say who but she knows who she is….. My hands look like hamburger meat…..Hope tomorrows workout is 100 pull ups

    kba, you’re too nice! Pushups were my nemesis today, they were only good due to Vas pushing me in the beginning.
    With breaks included it right at an hour, 6ish, 9ish, and the last 3 in the 11 and 12’s.
    First time though that I’ve done 20 consecutive pullups though! I’m happy about that.

    I forgot to write down my time, if the morning crew could remember not to erase it or make a note of it for me. It was sloooow. Pullups suck, must start negatives. Must also start heeding the advice about avoiding the bands no matter how long it takes me. That goes for pushups too…if I can do two unassisted ring dips, I should not be doing pushups on my knees. Stephanie E., you’re a freaking machine. Was wondering what they would give us tomorrow, given everything we have been through this series. More ghd’s. Grreeeat.
