Workout of the Day

6 rounds for time of:
Run 400 meters
25 Burpees

Set up under a bar that is one foot above your reach for the burpees. Jump and touch the bar for each burpee rep.

    Yesterday – 800m open water swim in the Chesapeake Bay followed by 17 mile bike ride around VA Beach. 15 mins for the swim, 1:15 for the ride.

    Run + burpee workout, 27:56. Measured out the foot overhead thing and put a pvc pipe through a pair of rings as a target. This WOD is a real grind. I recommend putting a piece of tape on the floor under your target so you don’t have to look up to hit it.

    I got to 40kg, failed the split jerk on 42.5kg
    last time 12/8/08 I got to 40kg and failed the split jerk on 43kg
    I have to figure out how to make my brain not think so much.

    21:59 Rx (with 1′ target).
    The target slows your burpee cycle time down quite a bit…Which leaves no time for breaks really….I agree with Steve, a grind it out workout. I think under 20 is possible, you would need to improve technique and cycle time on burpees where you hit a target…
