    Because of the WOD Dan posted yesterday which included 150 wall balls, he went with deadlifts today instead of Karen.
    Check with Mike tonight to see what the evening sessions will be.

    I cannot speak for other trainers this evening but I will give those in my classes (5:15 & 6:15) the option to do either Karen or the deadlifts.

    Today, I went to the doctor and had to get stitches in my back. Before the incision I asked the doctor when I could get back to working out. First, he said that I could work out today, but then asked what I do to work out. After telling him about CrossFit he said that I absolutely cannot do anything like that until at least Monday and limited stuff at that. He said as he was finishing up, “you have 6 stitches on the outside and a SHIT TON inside so that it will hold together when you get back to your gym”. Cool doc! He also said that if I have pain I can take Tylenol or Drink Like a Fish! Sounds like a good way to go into the weekend!

    Chose the “5×5 deadlifts” option — 100, 100, 100, 90, 90
    Laura, the stitches sound rough, I hope you heal up soon. Also, didn’t we learn the other day in Momo’s thread that opiates were the way to go for painkillers? However, I don’t remember “Drink Like a Fish” as one of the options discussed.

    thanks, Steve. It’s really nothing big, just a mole removed that was looking like it could be a future issue. I will hit Momo up for some opiates, but I prefer the buzz from a martini over the pain killers.

    Laura – I also hope they heal.. this wouldn’t be fun but it would be a fun story to tell, i.e. if stitches popped out while working out due to your strength.

    I went with the Karen option. 14:54Rx. This was a big PR for me since the last time I did Karen, I only did 1/2 Karen (75 Wall balls) and it took me over 30 minutes!
    If you’re wondering, the last time I did Karen was my first day at Crossfit.
