    I don’t think there’s any debating that Dan is an ass-man. I took this picture, and another one, in which the girls are facing the other direction, with several seemingly relevant parts of their underwear missing, namely, those that cover their ass cheeks. The girls were very nice, despite our somewhat awkward interaction that went something like this:
    Dan and MoMo approach the girls, and before Momo can get a word out, Dan says the following:
    “Margaret would like to try out for your dance team.”
    Margaret: “Noooo, I would NOT,” and then, feeling somewhat abashed that I may have unintentionally conveyed my feelings about their chosen profession, I backpedal furiously saying, “I mean, I’m a lawyer, for goodness sake, and, also, a really bad dancer.”
    As any of you that know me well can attest, I am a fantastic dancer, but it was all I could come up with on the spot. I felt like Queen must have felt in the elevator….

    In celebration of Bethanie and Stowe’s birthdays, we will be going out Friday night. Please join us, one and all. We will be starting at my house at 8, but as parking is limited, it may be best to meet us in the Highlands, where we plan to move after a few cocktails.     good job
    any tips on the L rope climbs? any kipping? my main concern is fear that I will get stuck near the top of the rope w/out feet on the rope.

    Maybe Momo, you can teach them the CrossFit Atlanta style of “dancing” that we seem to do when we go out.

    Can you believe it? I made it to a morning WOD today! I can’t either.
    I did 3 rounds of Kelly. We really should do that one more often. It’s long, tough, sweaty, makes you smell like BO, and makes you sore enough to feel a sense of accomplishment, and you can scale it down to 3 rounds when you are running late for work in the morning.

    Momo, I love you. I have the humor of a 13 year old boy and that was AWESOME! we will have to do another birthday WOD and you can have AMPAP pelvic thrusts as your event. Do you remember those from old jazzercise videos (I can only assume that my mom wasn’t the only one with those work out at home videos)

    as I fatigued, fear would still set in for me, so I tried to never look down & try not to think my grip strength was decreasing.

    Did the alternate WOD: 3 rounds of 21 pull-ups, 21 KTEs, and 21 kettlebell swings in a glacially slow 31:00. Just wasn’t feeling it tonight.

    I would like to call them kipping L-pull ups…
    That, however would be an insult to the letter L, and an insult the letter L is an insult Sesame Street. Ever meet a pissed off Oscar the Grouch in a dark alley? I don’t recommend it.
