NOTICE

We will be closed this weekend for the CrossFit Games Sectionals!

But you’ve been invited to visit our friends at CrossFit On The Move for their morning session.

Because of the large number of trainers and and members who will be participating as competitors or volunteers in the CrossFit Games Sectionals this weekend at Stone Mountain we
won”t have anyone to staff the gym, and probably no one to come
workout.  We have two teams entered in the Affiliate team competition,
too many to count entered in the individual competition, and many
others volunteering in one way or another.

15 men and 15 women will
qualify to move on to the Southeast Regionals, from which 4 men and 4
women will qualify for the 2010 CrossFit Games
to compete for the title of “Fittest Man & Woman on Earth.”  Come
out to Stone Mountain and enjoy the fun.  Competition starts at 9 AM.

They’ve posted the heats for the sectionals on the website. Rob, Ian, Mike K and I are all in heat 3. This is going to fucking rock.

It is possible that I need to buy a spectator pass and would have the second free one available.. if there was anyone that wanted to split the cost on that. I will know by later today.
I know for sure that one spectator pass will not be used for AM events, only the 2nd WOD.

lala, nancy e and kba – you three might want to try to coordinate a pass together, as i’ve talked to all of you at one point or another about this. the friend i was looking for a pass for doesn’t appear to be coming after all… too early for her :) so, i’m out.

Everybody’s age is +1. Not sure why.

My guess is they used birth year to calculate age in the spreadsheet, disregarding day and month. The same thing happened to me.

I’ve not bought mine either. I can only make it out Sunday, but will split the cost of a spectator pass if you’d like. They are offering an extra pass, i.e., 3 for $50 if y’all want to go that way. Otherwise I’ll just buy a 1-day pass when I get there.

Y’all three ought to go ahead and split the pass. My weekend is a bit uncertain; will probably have to make a last minute decision.

Nancy, and KBA. I would like to go in on a pass for the 2 for 1 with you. I tried clicking the link and didn’t see where to get the pass. I would like a pass for both days, so the other one would be able to be split up to one of you of both depending on when you’d want to go. I just need help with figuring out the purchasing web page.

Do yourself a favor and get some implants. Your very life could be at stake.

I went to this link: http://crossfit.regsvc.com/E32&startpageID=520&RID=11
But it says registration is closed. So I am guessing the passes need to be purchased at the gate?
My guests would not be coming till later, so if any of your guests are coming earlier in the day, you (Laura, Peter or Andy) could purchase the buy one get one free pass, I will give you $25 and take the pass extra or vice versa whoever gets there first.
Andy, where do you get the 3 for $50?
I would be interested, and need just one spectator pass to split.
