Our deepest sympathy and all our prayers go out to Mike G., who lost his father Monday. The family has requested no visitors and that today’s funeral services be private & family only. But if you wish, you can send condolences c/o

My condolences to mike and his family.
The correct response to the airplane question is:
    “You’re all wrong, here’s what will happen…”

My condolences, Mike. You are in my thoughts and I am sorry for your loss.
I didn’t catch the name of the person pictured above, but we have worked out together the past two mornings, and I gotta tell you, the dedication it takes to keep grinding out WODs with a broken wrist is admirable. (You too, B.) He seems to the enjoy the “fresh hell” (as Stu would say) each morning, and he offers encouragement and positive vibes to those around him, which I appreciate. Just had to give up a little recognition to this red-headed mystery man, if you’re out there.

The man in the picture is Johnny Foster, Laura Foster’s husband. He is also a boot camp trainer for BTB, but recent weather trends convinced him that Anthropogenic Global Warming is a hoax, and he wants to workout indoors until the real global warmer, the Sun, makes a comeback.

I did this at 4:30, pretty much alone besides a couple of early people warming up. I think the extra rest day I took helped and my KTE have improved tremendously (I remember when they used to be hard). It’s a 13 min PR and I am damn happy with it 🙂

Had some good competition in Vas and Jason Outlaw (welcome back finallly!).
Once again I had a crushing headache that prevented me from even sitting upright for about 15 min. Well done Marie, I don’t see how anyone could have physically gone any faster my hat goes off to you.
Thanks also to everyone who was cheering me and pushing me intensely.

Nice job, Jonathan. I had a major migraine too- I had to hold my head between my knees for a bit because it was so painful.

I’ve never had a migraine (other than those induced by workouts) before but if it feels like a 10,000 ton vice crushing the front half of your head, then I am very privileged in that I don’t get them (except from workouts with ghd’s).
Mike G you and your family have all my prayers, thoughts, and support. I wish I could say something that hasn’t already been said, but instead I offer you the following, which could make even the saddest person at least a little bit happy:

Hopefully it helps at least a little bit, even if it just brings a brief spot of joy to your life. We all love you man and have your back 100%
