CrossFit ATL 4369Heidi will be leaving us soon for a job in Jacksonville, FL, and we're gonna have a BIG going away party.  Details on the board at the gym.

Workout of the Day

Three rounds for time of:
Walk on hands, 100 feet
Hold handstand against wall for two minutes
15 Handstand push-ups

Post total time to comments MINUS the six minutes of static handstands.

    Heidi, you’ll definitely be missed by Team Ewing…sorry I can’t be there for the party or to say goodbye in person.
    Also, greetings from Tbilisi, Georgia! My WODs for the past 2 weeks have consisted of a lot of push ups, air squats, lunges, etc., and hikes along the mountain ridge that forms the physical border between Georgia and Azerbaijan. Which is cool, but I’m really looking forward to the day I can pick up a weighted bar again…deadlifting my 40 lb suitcase only goes so far… Y’all told me to update you, so there you go :)

    Last night I maxed out my clean for the first time in ages. I got 70kg. About a 7 kg pr.

    Thank goodness the workout focuses on arms! I still can barely move my legs from Tuesday’s workout!

    Remember…there is a few different scales of Paleo. Some people are very strict, some take in a little dairy, and some will eat legumes on occasion.

    For those of you who were not in my classes last night:
    You MUST post your 2010 fitness goals on our “Goals Blog” (see the link on the left hand side of our home page) by next Friday, January 29th.
    If you come to either of my classes after that and have not posted your goals, there will be some sort of punishment (I assume the other trainers will also jump on this rule). We trainers want to help you achieve your goals and this blog will help us keep track of where everyone is at. Also, feel free to offer tips to people who have goals you have achieved… or you can buddy up with someone who has similar goals.

    FGB ON SUNDAY!!!!! check the board for times to sign up when you come in today and tomorrow. we will run heats every 30 min starting at 10. weather permitting we will plan to grill out and booze after. bring whatever you want to grill and drink. This will be a lot of fun and I hope everyone will make it out. see you all sunday!
