    For serial, this is ridiculous. I’m fairly certain I’m going to catch a fall with my face tonight attempting this workout.

    Quite the week. Did about a 25 mile ride last night so my legs are shot. I want to make up Nate tomorrow though! I have a feeling a 1.5 pood kettlebell will have its way with me.

    Games workout #2 is a 10 minute deadlift ladder starting at 315#. It advances 10# every 30 seconds i.e. you have 30 seconds to deadlift each weight from 315# up to 505#.
    Would anyone like to try this tonight?
    As prescribed only.

    I wouldn’t get very far. Though, maybe being in the competition at the games adds extra strength to one’s deadlift.

    It seems to me that the only way to get through all 20 of the DLs after the trail run is to have a 600+ 1RM DL. Just working up to or somewhere near your 1RM in that event would be impressive given the 30sec window you have to perform each lift.

    Wow! 7.1 km ultra-hilly trail run, a rest of somewhere between a few minutes and an hour (the faster you run, the more rest you get), and then the deadlift ladder — that is some “evil genius” programming to be sure. I can’t wait to see what the three other events for Saturday are. Mike G, if you are reading this, good luck this weekend!

    Made up Nate tonight. HSPUs were mostly Rx, had to switch to jumping MUs after the first round to stay at metcon pace, and the KB swings were surprisingly easy. Finished at 8 rounds + 3 HSPUs.
    The gym was empty tonight. Where was everybody?
