    The CrossFit Dirty South regional qualifiers are being held on April 25th and 26th in Jacksonville, FL. If you are not competing in the individual events you can still represent CrossFit Atlanta on our affiliate team at the Dirty South Regionals! They are coming up quick, we need to know who’s interesting in participating so we can start signing up. We’d like to get a Team RX (2 men and 2 women) and then we can have as many Open Teams of 4 as we’d like, the Open Team are not RX and can be any combination of men and women. The registration fee is $30 per person.

    That’s an excellent book, Vasiliy. I’ll have to get a copy for myself. I recently gave a short lecture on nutrition to my coworkers and the subject of cholesterol came up and many of the things this guy is talking about I brought up. The picture is fantastic.

    I need to add that the registration fee goes up after next Wed, March 25th.
    If we register before then it’s $30, after that it’s $37.50.

    Bonjour! Just popping in and saying hello from Paris! Miss you guys (and real food…and actually working out besides walking for miles and miles a day). We’re having a blast! See you guys when I get back.

    Stephanie, there’s no reason that you shouldn’t be doing HSPU on the Eiffel Tower or any other precarious locations. Step it up. And take pictures and maybe they’ll put you on the main Crossfit site.

    Lifted this morning followed by Murph tonight. As Rx’d: 38:08, although the first mile was short because the bucket wasn’t there and I’d never run that route before.

    Don’t forget about paintball. it’s April 12th, and that is Easter. So, call your mama and tell her to make Easter dinner sometime after 2pm that you can come play paintball in the morning. Get your waivers (they are in the cubbies at the gym by the door or at http://www.nitropaintballga.com) and $30 turned in ASAP! you can give them to me, send them to me, give them to Bethanie, or rugby team can give them to Mike Aaron. They are due by March 25th. If you have no family obligations, or your family is 1000 miles away (like mine) we will find a bar after paintball because nothing heals the pain like a cold beer. Cold beer works equally well at numbing the pain by drinking it or by placing the cold bottle directly on the injury. questions??? [email protected]

    I couldn’t kip so dropped from 10 to 5lbs for the weighted pull ups.
    6 rounds in 36 minutes, I did not count the sets.
