Tomorrow the 6 and 7 am crew will be working out then cooking PALEO breakfast to celebrate Leah “Master” P, Blaine, and Chris Lane’s ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! If you can get out of bed, get in here and have some bacon and eggs, and other treats on the paleo buffet!

I’m going to say that the 7:00 to 7:30 time frame should be optimal for max food availability. We’ll start cooking omelets after our workout; the other food should be arriving at the gym all ready to consume.

Happy Birthday, B! We are so lucky to have you as a permanent fixture at Crossfit Atlanta…what a great community we have and what a great group of trainers!!
I’ll be there tomorrow morning to do some skill building and to celebrate. My lower back is on fire from my 1/2 McGhee this morning. (1/2 both in terms of scaling the weight and in terms of the duration of my amrap!)
June will be my two year anniversary at Crossfit Atlanta, and it’s definitely changed my life. Stay tuned for a sentimental blog post. For now, you’ll have to be satisfied with the fact that I am announcing a FRAN OFF in celebration of this momentous occasion. I am thinking a Saturday morning….maybe the 5th of June. I am guessing our elites will still be reocvering from regionals at this point, so this is a chance for all you new faces to give Fran a shot. And, perhaps you can test your Fran times at the beginning and again at the end of the Paleo challenge to gauge your progress. One of my 2010 goals is to get a particular time, so I am going to try for that. Lauren R., I am calling you out personally and requesting your attendance so you can wipe the smug look off my face. Robert Aaron, if you’re a real man, you will be there too.

i know we have a lot of technologically minded/IT type folks at the gym (of which i am NOT one)… and i need some help (there could be $$$ involved, not just free advice)!
long story short, my company is splitting from an affiliate located in STL, and we need help migrating all of our documents from the server located there to a new one, which we will need to create. there are also some issues we’d need to discuss regarding domains and email transitions. if anyone knows how to do this type of stuff and would be interested in some side work OR can recommend someone that could help us PLEASE let me know!!! [email protected] or 314.440.0403.
    thanks 🙂
    PS Happy b-day Brandon!!!

Sorry for the delay, Bethanie (I can rarely comment on a Typepad blog from my Mac, so had to get to a different ocmputer) We’re in good shape – foodwise – and will be happy to see you at the gym in the AM!
