Workout of the Day

"Brenton"

Five rounds for time of:
Bear crawl 100 feet
Standing broad-jump, 100 feet

Do three Burpees after every five broad-jumps. If you've got a twenty pound vest or body armor, wear it.

Tomorrow is our big Anniversary Halloween Party!! We will be decorating all day if you want to stop in and carve a pumpkin! 🙂

    I’d say what makes a great crossfit trainer is a combo of knowledge, dedication and phrases like “easy peasy” to motivate you through those tough moments.

    OMG…the one time I make the homepage and I look like I’ve crapped my pants .
    I’d say what makes a great crossfit trainer is all of what Stephanie said above .. plus the ability to really know what a client needs to motivate them specifically. I think that CF trainers have to be athletes/therapists/mind readers. Every person is different and a truly GREAT trainer knows how to tailor themselves to each individual they teach. Oh and the ability to answer emails is a plus too 🙂

    We have a staggering level of talent among our trainers and are so lucky. I don’t even know where to begin. I think it takes charisma, patience, kindness, passion, knowledge, humor, time-management, intelligence and that certain intimidation factor that will make a client do things they don’t want to do.

    yep … somehow Mikey and Brent have that mix of shaming me and making me feel guilty that gets me to do things like BEAR CRAWLS- so yes Momo you are absolutely on the money with that one !

    Well, Mike is a semi-decent trainer
    Bethanie would be great – IF – she stopped playing crappy 80’s music during workouts. Don’t get me wrong, there is very good 80’s music, it’s just not in the 5pm to 7pm CF Atlanta playlist…
    The rest of y’all are just mediocre (at best)

    if anyone is on the fence about going in to do Brenton today… DO IT! that was the most fun wod i’ve done in a long time, even if the body armor was constricting my breathing before i even started…
