In his 2001 book Dr. Scott Connelly said that the the "F" word in nutrition was fructose.  In his March, 2010 CrossFit Journal lecture Dr. Connelly pointed out that the rapid rise in obesity exactly coincides with the introduction of
high fructose corn syrup into food manufacture. New evidence emerges almost daily to support that hypothesis.   The conclusion is inescapable: consumption of products containing high fructose corn syrup is driving the obesity epidemic, and the associated epidemics in Type 2 Diabetes, and Metabolic Derangement Syndrome.  Read these:  Princeton Study, More From the Princeton TeamKilling Us Softly.

Just know that tomorrow is Filthy 50 and I want all of you to show up for that…
tonight, come in and be able to tell me what your max Front Squat and your max DL are because I will want percentages of this for the workout we are doing this evening.

While in line at Publix I saw on the cover of “Women’s World” an article about “Eva loses 20 lbs on the amazing paleo diet!!!” I wish I could tell you more, but I wasn’t sure what people would think of a 24 year old man reading a women’s world in line at the grocery store, much less purchasing one.
If someone with a vagina wants to go buy one and report back, I would be interested to see what the article says.

It’s a magazine for crying out loud. Just buy the stupid thing.

Just don’t admit to buying it for the articles. You’re only interested in the bikini clad photos of Eva. Everything will be fine.

I’m with Jonathan on this one. Just a bit too girlie for my taste.

The article is actually about Sarah Fragoso. She works with Robb Wolf at Norcal Strength and Conditioning.

You are getting personalized shout-outs from the Buckhead Lululemon store for buying your boxers there:

I think we can safely say you feel secure in your masculinity. Or something. Don’t worry about the magazine, just buy it.

Warm up at 4, go when were ready. Who do you think is going to have a better time, me or Robert? Either way, this is gonna be ugly.
