In his 2001 book Dr. Scott Connelly said that the the "F" word in nutrition was fructose. In his March, 2010 CrossFit Journal lecture Dr. Connelly pointed out that the rapid rise in obesity exactly coincides with the introduction of
high fructose corn syrup into food manufacture. New evidence emerges almost daily to support that hypothesis.
