I really wanted that 100 but it wasn’t happening today. Still a 2kg PR from the day we did the crossfit total.

Good work B! You’ll get it next time. 97K isn’t shabby!

Beth I see you need a kick in the ass..Come in tonight at 5 and I will piss you off enough that you will jack up 110 with no problem…Slacking on me and not getting 100….

Thanks, Brent! That encouragement actually really helps. Surprisingly, I’m not as pissed at myself as I usually am when I don’t reach my goal. I really fought for that 97 so 100 is for next time.
DHall: take a lesson from BMW.

I had a really big PR today thanks to Ian pushing me. Last time I recorded a max dead lift it was 70K.
    Today:

Wow, Laura, that’s more than I can dead lift these days… Great work!
I just did the DL 1RM last week, and I’m not posting the results.
I was pressed for time, so I just ran a mile. Time was 6:36.

I think ‘big PR’ is a bit of an understatement. Great job Laura!

First of all, holy shit laura! That’s pretty amazing! Congrats big time on that.
I worked out at Crossfit Fire up here in the Chicago burbs –
    DL 5 x 5: 100/110/120/125/130 kg
    then,
    3 rounds for time of
    400m row
    10 box jumps, 24″
    5 clapping push ups
    5:54
It was good to do some strength stuff, as I’ve been missing out on it a lot lately due to my erratic work schedule. The second workout was an awesome little mini workout that I highly recommend everyone try at some point just because i’m curious how my time stacks up.
I’ll be back in ATL tomorrow night and back in the gym on Thursday!
