    Stone Mountain run this Saturday!! Time to run up the damn mountain again. We had a good group last time and it was a lot of fun. If you want to jump in, meet at the flying biscuit of Northside Pkwy by 11:15am on Sat. DON’t BE LATE, a few people got left last time 🙁
    We will probably grab a bite afterward.

    How long of a run is it? Do you climb up a bunch of rocks, or is it a big uphill path?

    1.3 miles, and it’s a pretty brutal uphill run. No spots where you have to physically climb or boulder, but it does get steep enough in some parts that it’s almost impossible to run, you have to walk. Last time we did it, the fastest time was in the mid 12 minute range (Ken). Male sure you wear shoes that don’t slip unless you want to slip every 50 m and then skate on one foot back down the mountain (Rob).

    Hey Guys! REMEMBER, sign up for the warrior dash here: http://www.warriordash.com/register2010_southeast.php
    It’s not until May, but spots are filling up fast. Register for 4 PM or after, so that we can drink, camp and make an evening out of it. The camping part is going to be interesting for me. Stand by for me to purchase all necessary equipment at REI, and then have no clue what to do with any of it.

    Screw it. I’m wearing the same shoes, and given that it looks like the weather conditions will be the same (shitty), maybe I’ll fall off the mountain for real this time.

    Had to kip rounds two and three on the HSPU’s. It got ugly. Still a PR by 3 seconds though.

    I signed up (warrior dash) 3 weeks before I joined xfit for the 1pm slot. Maybe I can change my time. Or at least have a beer with y’all afterwards.

    I just signed up for the 4:30 time slot and they are running out FAST, and 4pm is already filled up. Time to stop putting it off and register!
    Andy, we expect you to have a cold beverage ready for us at the finish line.

    I would go on the run Saturday, but I’ll be working at the gym until noon. Missed it last time too! But if for some reason you guys decide to start up a little closer to 1, let me know and I’ll join in too~
