Man, are everyone’s shoulders too sore to comment today?

I like this rest day workout Dan, good idea. These are some skills everyone should practice.

Question: On “Joshie” do you need to start the snatch from the ground or can you start it from the knee area?

    The ground.

Gee whiz, so today I come in and to my amazement I did the DB Thruster workout and guess what? I did it and my shoulder does not and I repeat does not hurt. I am happy….

Actually Ryan you should do it from Beth’s favorite position, from your back on the floor… Oh snap Beth!

I won’t say what DHall’s last boyfriend told me his favorite position is…
    yeah, I went there.

sorry, let me clarify…I meant to say, Ryan, that you should start your snatch where you begin a deadlift (which also happens to be DHall’s favorite position).

Beth you better stop that jibba jabber. You are in the South now. Things are different here woman….By the way I am hearing good things about your training for the games!

Well considering my body is equal to that of Chuck Norris, I only took off about 6 days. Most men would have had to take off at least a month….

I believe this is the first documented case where complaining has actually healed an injury.

It feels better because of my comment yesterday. Kidding.
But in all seriousness, I am glad your shoulder feels better. And I would recommend for anyone else with an overuse injury to also lay off for a few days and let it heal.

hmmm…I’m not sure who’s spreading rumors…I’m going to the qualifiers because none of the other ladies are stepping up to the plate and CFAtl needs at least ONE female representative (plus, it should be fun).
As of now, my goal is to be able to do all the workouts as prescribed and put up a good fight.
anyway, thanks for the encouragement…it’s a bit frustrating that at the moment I cannot work on my biggest weaknesses: anything overhead. Still trying to learn the patience thing…

If anyone is still interested in the grass fed beef from the local farmers, let me know. I found some information on grass fed lamb in Sam’s club and Costco. They are free range but come from New Zealand and Australia (so not local farmers)

In response to my own post, I think it would be very helpful if the “meet our trainers” and “schedule” section were updated so that it actually reflects our current situation. Not bitching, just politely requesting.

Trainer list has been updated. And yes, the schedule should be updated since we are amazingly organized now.
And I guess I can answer for Vas in that he doesn’t officially train on weekdays (only weekends) but he does come in to workout around 7.
