Three rounds for time of:
Walking lunge, 50 meters
Standing broad-jump, 100 meters
Run 200 meters

    Got back from Hawaii last night. Awesome time. My diet while I was there can be summed up in one word: carbohydrates. My last workout was one month ago today, so hopefully just another month and I can start doing some light activity. I’ve gained about 5 pounds of what I can only assume to be fat. I can’t wait till I can sit down again. Standing up all the way through a nine hour flight, twice, was no fun.

    I snatched 90 kg last night, a 3 kg pr from two weeks ago (and only 2 lbs away from 200 lbs).
    I would like to use that exciting news (exciting for me at least) as an opportunity to again promote the strength bias/Olympic lifting classes that Jason and Chandler hold four days a week. If the times of those classes don’t work for your schedule, email them and see what you can work out with them. I’ve been noticing more people taking advantage of their classes lately, but for those who haven’t considered it yet, throw it into the mix!
    One more thing: the training staff has some exciting new things in the works regarding nutrition! Nutrition is arguably one of the most important aspects of your overall well being. It is tightly linked to how you perform, grow, progress, and recover beyond your daily wods,stretching, and rolling. We don’t have full details yet, but over the next few weeks we will be developing and implementing various online and in the gym resources, informational talks, and more about the Paleolithic and zone diets.     I still don’t have any back pain, but the sciatica seems to be getting better. The foot numbness is all but gone and the pain is concentrating itself higher in my thigh and ass, which the doc says is what should be happening as it heals.
