Five rounds for time of:
Run 400 meters
30 Glute-ham sit-ups
250 pound Deadlift, 15 reps

    Awfully quiet here today. The workout isn’t that bad.
    Is it just too cold? Or is everyone caught up in the inauguration?

    I’m planning to come by after work for this one. I’ll have to scale it, though — my abs were pretty destroyed from the 5×50 abmat situps last week, can’t imagine doing 5×30 GHD situps. And 15×250 lbs — 250 is more than my one-rep max. Oh well, enough whining, 3-2-1-GO!

    I know BMW, nobody posts times anymore. I did hang power cleans yesterday… ended at 170lbs but it wasn’t pretty. Actually failed on my first attempt. Kinda hard to go heavy at LA Fitmess because you can’t drop the weights. Ran 2 miles after the cleans and did some sprints on the treadmill.

    Hmm not sure what to do about this one. By the time I can workout its going to be dark and probably 20 degrees or so…not really into running in the dark (especially after the car incident). Thinking about rowing this one but not sure how well that would workout with the heavy deadlifts….hmmm

    Marie, you must do this one RXed. You are the only female at our gym who can do the deadlifts with the prescribed weight. Just tell whomever is at the gym that if you aren’t back from your run in 5 minutes they should assume the worst…I guess that’s not that much of a consolation.
    On another note to console you some more…a dude came into the gym this morning trying to sell his art for $40 a pop. After telling him we weren’t really “decorating” he asked if I wanted one for free because “I seem like a very nice young lady”.

    It was cold. Breathing was difficult.

    I need to rest today, but would like to make this one up. I could do this Wed, Thurs, maybe Friday evening. If anyone else is, let me know, or I will bring my mp3 player.
    haha Kath. You could take a shawl or scarf and wrap it over your mouth and nose. That helps me somewhat.

    The deadlifts sucked so I don’t think I could’ve gone much faster on those but I think I could’ve gone faster on the runs and GHDs. First time doing this workout so I guess I didn’t really know what to expect. Next time I will be shooting for 25 minutes.

    HSPU suck so much ass. I did the first round without any abmats, and the last two with 2 abmats.

    Still the slowest in the gym… but still learning. Around 41 minutes.

    I think I actually had a hangover afterward…splitting headache and nausea on the ride home. 30 minutes and some-odd seconds. 45kg the first two rounds and discovered it was too easy so i switched to 55kg halfway through. Brrr!
