Another great experience at the CrossFit Games, which has become the largest gathering of good looking people in the world. Our team: Mike & Bethanie Giardina, Rob & Andy Miller, Leah Polaski & Jessica Denny Phillips put their hearts, souls, and bodies on the line in every workout and finished 13th in the Team Competition. Not bad considering that the qualifying process started with over 7,000 CrossFit affiliates world wide, and the Games also permits non-affiliate teams to compete. The State of Georgia was extraordinarily well represented at the Games. CrossFit Adrenaline, in Cartersville, finished 3rd, on the podium! An outstanding performance by an outstanding group of folks. CrossFit Rx, in Atlanta, finished 28th. Zach Anderson, of CrossFit Paragon in Sandy Springs, finished 10th in Individual Men, Daniel Petro, of CrossFit West Cobb placed 13th, and Travis Mayer of CrossFit Silos in Alpharetta finished 18th. Emily Friedman, of CrossFit Rx, finished 25th in Individual Women. Georgia and Metro Atlanta rule the Southeast! We are proud of everyone, and proud to be the gym that first brought CrossFit to Georgia.
