I lost an earring back at the 6am WOD this morning. It might be around the pull up bars, or by the end of the day in George’s stomach since I understand he enjoys the taste of jewelry. Please, let me know if you find it unless it is the latter case and then I do not want it back.
Did Jackie today for the first time in 13:??. Last night Momo and I did 4 rounds of 24 push press and 800m run in 32:??. Shoulders need a rest after push press, rowing, thrusters, and pull ups.

Anybody have any advice on scaling Eva? I’m pretty sure I can’t do 5×30 2 pood kb swings in any sensible amount of time. I’m thinking 1.5 pood instead.

They have scales on the main site. Start Here > BrandX Scaled Workouts.
Any way you take it, Eva sucks.

It’s sad when you’re the last person to sign into the gym and the first to sign in the next morning. I really need to get a life.
Gave Eva some serious consideration this morning, picked up a 24k kettle ball, and after I swung it up in the air, it promptly had it’s way with me, carrying my entire upper body towards the floor in a brilliant display of gravitational force. Opted for Helen instead. Thought I could get sub 10 minutes, but ended at 12:29. That’s still a 30 second PR, but boy, after last night my shoulders are WASTED.
Lala, tomorrow, let’s do “Fried Legs” but with GHD’s in lieu of rowing as I don’t think I will be capable of pulling the rower even an inch towards my chest. Sorry about last night.

What does the Fried Legs workout consist of? I think it’s back extension, squats and rowing, but how many reps and rounds of each, do you know??
Good job on Eva today. My arms are about to fall off between last night and this morning. Feeling BAD.

Alright, but going to sub 15 HSPU’s instead of pullups. Hands are torn up and Cali is only a little over a week away.

Peter, most of the morning crew used a lighter weight KB and/or did 3 to 5 rounds.
    This one’s brutal!

Can’t thank Outlaw enough for staying an hour after he worked out so that I wouldn’t have to do this alone. You will truly be missed buddy. Anyway, in his boredom of watching me move in slo motion he even recorded my split times for each round:
    ROund 1 in 8:15, 2 in 9:29, 3 in 13:06, 4 in 13:01, and 5 in 12:11.
The super slow time in round 3 is a result of vaginitis.

I think you can do it RX.

No problem Bethanie. And just to be clear, the final time on the clock was as you’ve reported here. If you sum the splits, the time comes out to 56:02.
I recorded your splits from the time you began running to the time you finished your last pull-up in each round. The amount of time (2:20) you spent between rounds dousing yourself in cold water or catching your breath wasn’t accounted for in your split times.
There is no doubt that you could do this one faster seeing as how you plowed through the final 2 sets of KB swings and managed to decrease your split times from rounds 3 to 5.

I intended to run but felt extreme soreness in the quads as I began to run. At least I don’t think it was my brain making me skip the running.
Even scaled, this workout is tough.

I was wondering if anyone that works out in the evening (specifically 6pm-7pm) that would be coming in tomorrow, Wednesday.. that either lives close to GT, or GT is on the way home. I live off 10th ST and I might need a ride home (I could get a ride there).
    Thanks

CrossFit is decidedly less popular here in Augusta than Atlanta. Went to CrossFit Augusta this evening at 6 and was the only one in the class. Eva’s not much fun by yourself. Anyway, thanks again to you all for your friendliness. I really enjoyed working out with you. Take care. -Nate

I caught a nasty “charley horse” in my right quad after entering the gate on my 4th 800m. Clock was at 39:?? when I told Mike I was done. This sucks big time because I caught my “second wind” on the turnaround of the 3rd 800m and really looked forward to pushing through the rest of this one.

Talk about hand-brutalizing, my hands are destroyed. I almost feel like I could have gone a good bit faster had they held up.

I set out to do this horrible thing Rx tonight. After the first round of kb swings I started to feel a little off. Half way through round 3 my mouth was completely dried out, I was having trouble maintaining balance, and I felt completely fatigued. Round 4 wasn’t going to happen. On the way home I realized that I consumed less than 30oz of liquid today and less than 2000 calories. Sabotaged myself.
