Workout of the Day

"Tabata Something Else"

Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds
of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are
push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8
intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.

Post total reps from all 32 intervals to comments.

    Hey Guys! Bethanie and Mike have come up with a great idea for our next Friday night social event (this Friday, the 23rd)…we will be heading out to Cowboy’s in Kennesaw to watch Clay Harvision’s fight. For those of you that don’t know, it’s MMA (mixed martial arts). Kennesaw is a haul, so we’d like to gage interest in splitting the cost of a couple of taxi vans to take us up there. Also, we can either meet the cabs at the gym or at my place…the advantage of the latter is that fewer people attempt to drive home after what promises to be a fairly insane night.
    So, please cast your votes here for the following:
    1. Split the cost of a cab: YES or NO, and
    2. Meet at the gym or Momo’s: PICK ONE.

    Another option: just talked to a van rental in Norcross. We can rent a 15 passenger van for the night at a cost of $116. Seems cheaper than cab fare. There are two conditons: one, we need a driver who is willing to remain sober, and I am NOT IT, and two, we need to verify if we have 15 participants willing to split the cost.

    By exercise today: 104, 102, 112, 146 = 464. About an 80 rep PR over doing it chest-to-bar.

    Up to 85 lbs, which ties my current record.

    If you want to buy fight tickets early, so you don’t have to wait in line at cowboys, bring in $20 tomorrow. I will be picking them up from Clay tomorrow night or on Thursday.
