I’m glad it’s a rest day for me, I almost quit this workout last time it came up because I felt so awful during it.
Is it really that bad? I didn’t think it could get any worse after the last 2 days’ workouts.
That was the surprisingly fit 10am group. So Dan and I put them through Fran as their first ever WOD.
its not that bad, 21:09, the last round is the worst part, but its over quick, like gettin a shot.
What is the drill/exercise w/the pvc pipe as shown in the picture?
Ken, Mike & Dan,
Thought you all would find this some very entertaining reading:

In the Atlanta humidity, this Chicago woman felt like she was moving through molasses. Thanks for letting me work out with the 6 a.m. crew. Had a great time and hope to make it back again.
That’s I drill I use to teach people to keep their elbows up when they front squat. You basically pull your shoulders back. Then you push your shoulders forward. This position with the shoulders extend out in front is where they need to be when you front squat. Keeping your shoulders out in front like this makes it a lot easier to keep your elbows.
Thank you everyone for watching Jax, especially Laura, I hope you all have a great weekend, hopefully we’ll see you Friday:)
I like today’s workout…much better than the last 2 days. Finished in 17:28 (PR by 1:05)
Maybe it’s the two months I took off, but today’s workout was rough! I hate burpees.
As prescribed. 18:18.
I couldn’t find my butt with both hands on this WOD today. It looks easy on paper but was pretty killer, and its been hard to get my head in the game lately in my workouts which is not helping.

WOD time 17:?? worked out with Leah, she’s badass… I appreciate the encouragement!
