my goal is to avoid dropping the eff bomb during this workout, do every ring dip unassisted with the mental toughness of kba, and to finish in under 1.5 hours. the eff bomb part is going to be hardest.
I’m with you Dhall, my upper body is still shot from last week and Cindy didn’t help…not sure how I am going to swing this, but I’ll give it a try.

Also, I heard if you cry about it, it’s supposed to make the workouts easier.

    Ooo this one looks tasty.
I’m going to do Mary tomorrow on the makeup day–I did not realize when I did it a few weeks ago that I couldn’t use an ab mat for HSPU (honest mistake, I even took my own name off the board). Should be interesting!

Waaaah. Don’t be mean, Charlie. Not everyone is a machine like you. They are really into the clean/dip combo these days.

Best part of today’s SWAT tryouts:
Of all the recruits, only one finished 15 rounds of {5 jumping pull ups, 10 push ups, 15 squats} in under 20 minutes. On his last squat (at around 18:30) he yells “I thought you said this was hard” and collapses on the blue matts drenched in sweat and gasping for air.
It was a fun time seeing you push your guys through the workout, Roy. Until next try outs.

Today as Rx’d: 12:48. I looked up the last time this came up (about a month into Crossfit for me) and I was 21:08 at 95# on the squat cleans.
Also, looking at Elizabeth at the end of January I was 13:06… not sure how I pulled off that improvement.

Marie and Vas: The drills helped as Amy J told me to set my goals higher and try the 95lb clean. After the max deadlifts, 95lb didn’t seem so bad and I actually got it. Then I was able to do all 45 in the workout. One at a time w/breaks, but I finished.
double unders, Mike had me try them and count the missed ones vs subbing singles.. out of the 90 I think I got about 15 or so which was more than I expected.
Rx Ring dips and Rx squat cleans (I actually caught them in a squat) 44:01
I can testify that Margaret did not drop the f bomb.

First workout with ring dips! Used the purple band and the elbow seemed to hold up, hopefully it feels fine tomorrow too. Everything else RX: 29:43. Sub-30 was the goal so I’m pleased. Good job 7 o’clock crew.
