Hi guys! I wanted to invite anyone who’s interested over to my apartment to watch the Crossfit Games live on my big screen tv on Saturday(I’m hooking up my computer via HDMI cord).
I imagine we’ll get everything set up and ready to go by noon (so hopefully we’ll see the 9am events over in California). Let me know if you’d like to come over and I’ll give you directions and my number so I can let you in the building (I live right next to GA tech).

So who’s idea was it to do Tabata Somethine Else this morning? My body is feeling a little… destroyed! 🙂

So, very, special. But, it takes one to know one. Yesterday I decided to work on some snatches with Travis. After one lift, he told me that he didn’t think that what I did was humanly possible, and he didn’t mean that in a good way. It’s never good when you look over at your o-lift coach after a lift and he asks “did that hurt???” It did not.

I’m going to take credit for today’s workout. I love Tabata Something Else, but I gotta say it pretty much killed me today too.

Try dropping an 80kg snatch onto your back. You’ll get some horrified looks from the coaches.

Reminding someone else of their weakness by referencing a failure of yours is a really neat trick, Rob. Thanks.

I don’t think that I can back squat 80 Kilos
    Is that bad?

Yes, since Kulsoom, who is half your size, can back squat 90 kg, that is bad. Girly man bad

Oh how I love this thread .. so many things .. First Momo.. my two favorite moments ever and Rob was there for one of them so he can verify.. is when Brandon asked me to do a snatch and then just stood there and said WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ??? 2nd one- placement of the bar on the front shoulder area… where Rob was kindly trying to give me a hint to what Brandon wanted- and points to his chest — My reply ” Are you staring at my boobs?!” LOL I think that’s last time Rob spoke to me! BUT the most “specialist” of moments is dropping a barbell on my head, thus leading to a concussion. No applause necessary -admit it you boys love the entertainment we “special” girls provide!

haha thanks. My PR is actually 92.5 kg for back squat.
Not mentioning the 2.5kg to put shame on you, rhjones5 but to give you motivation. If I can do it, you can do better. Practice and work on your form.
