    I just read the blog from yesterday and it seems that we need another casino night with Beef Cakes vs. DHall. I also think that an event for said casino night should be an all gym relay race: two teams, lots of exercises, and you have to divide up the exercises over the teams in a strategic way to edge out the other team. We used to do this at a summer camp I worked at and it rocked. For example, lets say that Mike G and I are on the same team and we are deciding who gets which exercise and the two events left are 100 push ups and 1 muscle up. I can’t do any muscle ups BUT it may be a better stragegy for our team if Mike does the 100 push ups (since he is so much faster than me) and we take a penalty with me on the muscle up. Sound cool?
    I did the sweatfest WOD yesterday, 3 rounds of 10 squats, pushups, sit ups, pull ups, burpees. My hands are still beat up from the walking lunge WOD a few days ago so I replaced the pull ups with 95# push press. 3 rounds were pretty sweaty, but I agree with Peter that 5 rounds would have been a good WOD.

    10 sets of 3 with an empty bar — working on form.

    First time doing them. Think I did about 80 reps starting with the girl’s bar and working up to 30kg. By that point I had had enough. Did some muscle-up work afterwards.

    My first time too…I started with PVC pipe and worked up to 28k. Many thanks to you and Mike G. for working with me to get it right. I tried to work on Muscle-ups with Peter, but can’t do them yet. Trying is the first step to doing, so I’ll keep trying.

    Oh…I forgot to mention appreciating Ian’s help. His description of how professionals move around the bar as it travels almost perfectly perpendicular to the ground was invaluable.
