Workout of the Day

Five rounds of:
5 Dumbbell deadlifts
5 Dumbbell hang cleans
5 Dumbbell push presses
5 Dumbbell squats

Increase the load each round. Rest as necessary between rounds.

Next Wed, May 19, we have the honor to have Michael Collins, Level 4 Pose Trainer, visiting to conduct a 3 hour clinic on the Pose Method of Running.  Cost is $100 to members, $125 to members of other CrossFit gyms, and $150 to the general public.  Register Now.

The painting project for the front area of the gym is almost complete.  Next step is moving the mats and weightlifting equipment to the front.  Thanks to everyone who helped out.  Stay tuned for your reward.

    Got up to 45 lbs in each hand. I did the dead lifts with 50 lbs, and got two squat cleans before my grip failed me completely. Some dude on beyond the whiteboard said he got up to 165 lbs. That must have been the weight of two dumbbells together. Who besides Ronnie Coleman has 165 lb dumbbells lying around?

    Dave – It’s gotta be total weight. Rob Orlando on the main site failed at 95lb (190lb total).

    My ass is officially huge. A new season brings new discoveries of clothing that no longer fits. I never thought I’d say this, but I think it may be time to lean out!

    Dont worry—I just got over it and ate a bunch of turkey and cheese. Im also pring on lifts and met-cons so eff it, Ill buy more pants.

    Hey guys!
    I am moving from Midtown (Piedmont/Ponce intersection) to Liberty Park (Ryan, Jonathan, and Leah P’s neighborhood) on Sunday, May 23rd. I’m planning to reserve a UHAUL for approx 1 pm. I have 3 pieces of furniture that have to be moved – a queen sized bed, lg bedside table, and heavy wooden piece (dresser type thing). I don’t have much other stuff – mostly clothes.
