NOTICE TO AAL TEAM CAPTAINS: With the Affiliate League starting this week and CFATL having 10-ish teams competing, there will surely be some conflicts/chaos at the gym on Saturdays.
As the Saturday trainer, PLEASE email me if you have a “home” competition coming up THIS WEEKEND. As you all know, there is an 11am class that goes on, and we will need to work around that as well as any other AAL teams that need to compete at our gym.
I will try my best to coordinate this, but seeing as I’m competing myself, I planned to close the gym promptly at noon this weekend. That being the case, it will be YOUR responsibility to contact another trainer to close up the gym if you need to be there after NOON.
    My email – [email protected]

props to Bethanie and Andy — but I look at this and think … “It’s just a jump to the left .. and then a step to the right .. put your hands on your hips .. Pull your knees in tight-The pelvic thrust will drive you insaneeeeeeeee! ”

    Leah/AAL Team Captains
It looks like there may be as many as three Rx teams hosting at the gym on Saturday. I’m not positive on what everyone ended up with for team names, but the three that look to be CFATL teams are: Atlanta Deadly Viper Assassins, Atlanta Returns, and Atlanta Boom! Not sure if any of the Elite teams are hosting at CFATL this weekend or not.
The work outs look to be at least 20 minutes and the home team and visiting teams take turns judging and doing the WOD. So one pair of teams would soak up 6 bars + 6 pull-up stations for about 45-60 minutes. I would suggest that once we confirm how many teams will be showing up at CFATL, we need to do a little additional planning and maybe offset the start times.
