Workout of the Day

Eight rounds for max reps of:
75 pound Push press, 20 seconds
Rest 10 seconds
Jumping alternating lunge, 20 seconds
Rest 10 seconds

Note: In past years with the GT Rugby team it has been a close call between bottom-to-bottom squats, burpees, and jumping lunges as to which is the most taxing movement to do Tabata intervals with.  Jumping lunges is the winner.

Don't forget, we now have an 11 AM to Noon session Mon thru Fri

Strength Challenge

You've heard of the Paleo Challenge, now we are going to do a Strength Challenge.  Brandon Conner will lead a meeting this Saturday at noon at the gym to lay out the plan for those who want to participate.  The focus will be on getting stronger in these lifts: deadlift, back squat, press, clean, jerk, & snatch.
